My name is Ellen Papanikolaou and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with the State of New Hampshire.
In December 2007 I opened my own practice at 250 Commercial St., Suite 3008 in Manchester. While raising my family I did work part time in private practice. From 2004 through December, 2007 I have been employed as an Emergency Service Clinician doing brief therapy, crisis evaluations and interventions, working closely with police, schools and hospitals. In 2006 I became licensed with the State of New Hampshire and have since decided to return to private practice in my own setting.
I offer counseling and consultation services to individuals, couples and families using Cognitive Behavioral, family systems, psychodynamic and solution focused techniques. As a practical, interactive, therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I view the therapeutic process as a relationship between client and therapist. To each new relationship I bring a variety of experiences and a strong level of commitment.
